Okay, so I know that it is going to make a difference in the board being slick, however, I was wondering if it would make a difference in the release off the wake, and if so, how much. I was just wondering more or less if it would effect the amount of air I am getting, thanks.

i believe riding finless helps you learn how to really use your edge. i think it can make a difference for the release off the wake, i'm not sure if its good or bad though. the amount of air you get all depends on your technique, not your fins. also, i wouldnt reccomend riding without fins if your board doesnt have molded in fins.
