What would the best 4 6.5" speakers be that I could get. They are going in tower speaker cans. I want something that I can hear clearly behind the boat.

I don't think you could get 2 sets of JL's for $150 Colin, unless you are willing to sell him yours.

go to Cardomain just bought 3 sets of polk db650's for $155. look for coupon online.

Polk MMC650's or MMC6500's (components). Throw good clean power at them and they will sound great at 70-75 feet back.
