Can anybody give me some advice on how to pull up the large rear floor panel on an 02 X-Star? Thanx for helping.

Just use a screwdriver, or the likes, to work up the forward edge and then 'walk' it out while lifting up gently! You shouldn't need to lift the floor more than 1" while walking it out.

It's pretty trivial. Just be careful.

Let me know if you need further help.

I loosened the screws that held the rear bench in place which sits pretty tight on the back of that panel. I think there was only like 6 to 8 screws total. And I think there was one or two screws on each side that I had to get to from the rear hatch. It's been a while. It came up really easy with the rear bench loose.
