Looking for some feed back on wetsounds rev 10s pushed by a syn 4. I'm thinking these may replace my pair of kmt6s and pro 60s in a couple months. I'm also debating on the wetsounds vs kicker for the in boat speakers. Xs-650 vs km6200s. Wetsounds are really expensive and wonder if its really that much better than kicker or JL? And feedback would b great

I think i know of only one person NOT running thier REV-10s with a Syn-4.. LOL, just Kidding. The Syn-4 is currently the ideal amp in the Wet Sounds Line up for power the Rev-10. Plenty of power, efficient, marine built, fan cooled, etc. For a single pair, I would also suggest looking at the new HT-4. 300W rms in bridged mode. The Hydro series are now shipping.

In regards to your in-boat question. The Kicker KM6200 would not be a fair comparison to the Wet Sounds 650 series. The XS-65 would be a more apples to apples to the KM6200 in both price range, power handling and output. For the SX-650, the Kicker KM6250.2 would be a fair comparison. Both handle a ton of power, carry a lot of mid-bass, have large powerful tweeters and are priced the same.

is brand a better than brand b is subjective. i can tell you i've had jl marine amps, clarion marine amps, regular phoenix gold(not the good ones), high end kicker amps, and none held a candle to my wet sounds amps. they all did ok, but some would over heat, some just couldnt handle being in the alabama heat, and some just ate the dust. i like jl amps and subs in my car though. wet sounds started in the marine speaker industry and still only makes products techincally for "outdoor" applications. i like that about them. the most bullet proof i've come across for a marine environment have been the wet sounds and the jl m1400 sub amp i had.

Haha yea mike I guess I stated the obvious with the syn 4 amp paired with the rev 10s but I was referring to the quality and performance of the pair. I'm looking at sending you a bunch of business in the near future to trick out the Tigè. Just trying to get educated so I'm not throwing money in the wind on speakers I'm not completely happy with. Thanks for the good advice tho!

Are you talking about running a pair of rev-10's with the Syn 4 or 2 pairs (4 speakers)?

I'm running 1 pair powered by a Arc Audio KS300.4, and I really cant hear them that well. I don't know if I am not getting the most amount of power from my amp, or if that's just how it is. It's pretty loud back there with wind/water noise anyway.

That ks300.4 is probably bridged to ur pair giving each rev 10 150 end which is half of what the call for if I'm not mistaken?

i have 2 syn 4s and 4 total rev 10's i bought 2 pairs, but only installed one pair for 2 weeks or so, then my other syn4 came in and put up the other pair. fyi, know one needs more that 1 pair period. the syn 4 and 1 pair of rev10s' is crazy loud, uber clear and super warm, if i had not already bought the extra pair and amp. i dont know if i would have. now that i have 2 pairs, i am spoiled and love the look. just buy them, you will be happy

I also have the xs650's 6 total and run a syn 4 with them as well. works great. do you have plans for a sub?

I have a rockford p3 12" I will b building a ported box for to replace my rockford free air 10". I may also pull one of my 12" how6s out of my truck and put in the box but the bass part should b covered once I get done. Sounds like ill b buying a pair of rev 10s and a pair of syn 4s as well as (6) xs-650s.
thanks for the feed back.

Rev 10s and Syn4 work very well. I have been told to turn it down numerous times.
