Hey, any suggestions on a dock start. I tried a whole bunch last summer but couldn't get it.

I always ended up landing, and getting pulled over the front of the board.

Try sitting on the edge of the dock, and it's just like you're already up. as far as doing a jumping dock start, make sure to lean back and be prepared for a strong pull. also, if you do jump in, keeping the rope more at your waist would lessen the possibility of getting pulled over the front of the board til you get the hang of it.

you can try letting the board float in the water in front of the dock and running and jumping on it, thats how i started. then once you get the hang of it that way you can hold it in your hand and run and throw it down and jump on it, just make sure you lean back and get ready for the pull
