I have not seen any posts on this boat. The hull is a 23 footer with a beam of 100 inches, two inches narrower than the 23 foot Enzo. It has a deep V like the Enzo. I am boat shopping and I am looking for the most bang for my buck. I wakeboard/surf 50/50.

I would appreciate and comments and experiences on this boat.

I have an 08 Avy, which is exactly the same boat but a foot shorter at 22ft. I believe these are great boats for the money. They ride great in choppy water, have a lot of storage space and have a great surf/wakeboard wake.

I have my Avy set up for surfing (removed hard tanks in back lockers and installed 1,200lb customs sacs). I fill 1,200lb sac, 250lb center tank, put 400lb on seat and 300lbs in bow plus crew and you have one of the best surf wakes of any boat on the market.

When I wakeboard, I just fill up both lockers (approx 700lbs each), the center tank and put about 700lbs in the bow. To be honest, this is way to much wake for me. But my friends that wakeboard a lot more than I do love it.

I would post this on www.centurioncrew.com as well. I know guys on there with the Typhoon would be more than happy to give you their thoughts.

Good Luck.

Dude, the typhoon c4 is my favorite boat out! If I could afford to sell my 2003 c4 avy and buy one I would in a second. What engine does it have?

It has the 330 hp mercruiser engine

jkw....I am confused, If you have a 1200 lb. custom sac, where is the 700 lb sac?

I currently have a 2002 Tige' 22IR that have been a good boat. I bought it new. At my age, 57, my future is most likely more surfing, but as of late I am really into wakeboarding. I want a surf wake that is above average and a lot longer than I can get with my current boat.

Dennis - I dont fill my custom sacs all the way up. I know that the size of the lockers hold a 750lb sac perfectly. So I was just estimating the weight.

I run pretty close to what jkw is running in my avy. except I put at least 1,000 # in rear locker. the rest is the same as jkw. This will produce the best wave you can imagine. Yes the Typhoon is the same hull as the Avy.
