Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the wakeboarding world and I had a question. For the past few years i've been riding an old CWB board, and now that i'm starting to get serious I decided to upgrade my board and bindings. I purchased a 2011 Hyperlite Clash board, and 2013 Hyperlite Remix bindings. When I was putting the board together I realized I was having some trouble getting the screws to fit the threads in the board, but I finally got them in, with some struggle however (I was careful not to strip the holes). But when I was out on the lake, I landed by first jump and looked down and I was already missing a screw, so that ended my fun with the new board. My question is, is it okay to put these new bindings on a older board? Was this problem human error on my part, or just bad luck? I also noticed that the screws that came with the bindings are different from what I've ever seen, as they are called M6 screws. I appreciate any input. Thanks guys!

easy fix, most new boards 2012-2013 switched to m6 screws which are metric so your 2011 hyperlite will not have m6 inserts you can contact hyperlite and they will send you regular screws or go to any local dealer and they will probably hook you up for free if you still have the screws from your old board those might work too.
