A lil help please! Kids sizing on bindings.... Thanks

Hey Gang
Does anyone know if a Kids Lg/XL LF Element binding would be a better fit for my 15 y/o brother who has grown out of his current kids 8-9 size binding on his board. A good friend of mine has some sitting around for us to borrow but I have not found a clear cut answer or sizing chart on these boots. They are a few years old but I'm sure that doesn't change anything.

What size foot is your brother? My 14 year old son with a 8.5 foot is using the 8 - 10 adult vantage boot...
