Right now I cant wakeboard for probably about a MONTH! I live in orlando so right where all three of the kids died this summer. So no wakeboarding until the water gets below 84...its at about 90 or over.

sorry David, but i have no sympathy.

my season ends in a month because the water gets too cold.

at least you get to go wakeboarding for the rest of winter.....

(i get bitter at this time of year)

nice dude, that tail is big!

how did you do?

I didn't do very good, I was thinking to much, lol. That and a TS indy were the only jumps I landed. I kept landing in the flats because I had the line to short, but I am happy I went. I'll do better next time with some adjustments.

awesome man, at least you had fun!

its alright, i drove 5 hours to a tournament in july, and only landed 2 tricks.

but as long as you have fun!

David I thought it was only 2 kids. It freaked me out I was at owc when someone was collecting water samples and telling us about what happened. Caleb what about a wet suit or dry suit?

"Right now I cant wakeboard for probably about a MONTH! I live in orlando so right where all three of the kids died this summer. This weekend was probably my last time goin until may =(. 50 degree air with a little wind was pretty chillie out of the water, the water itself was fine though.

I just nailed 2 out of three 360s. I am pretty stoked because I was landing like 1 out of 30 before, but after going to instruction, I am landing them a lot more consistently.

I am glad I am in California right now. Perfect water, perfect air, no people out, I am pretty blessed. You don't have to worry about dying from the water either.

excuse me i meant chris
Old     (brody)      Join Date: Jul 2006       09-13-2007, 5:32 PM Reply
The 3???
Well, first you get the fs 180 consistent and land BALANCED every time on those. From there you got to work with handle passes separately (example- trampoline with rope, passing random stuff around your back, etc.) Once you can comfortably handle pass, you start working on the right pop. Take a very easy cut into the wake and push off at the very top so that you can get some slack in the line. Do that certain pop with the fs 180s some more. Once you've got the pop, fs 180s, and handle passes, all you got to do is piece it together. Pop really high, initiate the rotation at the top of your jump, pass the handle and then there is a combination of the boat pulling you around and the momentum from the first 180. Land with your knees bent, ride away, and then pat yourself on the back.

i used doctor creathorn and they took my patela tendon and some bone took make me a graft for my knew acl and put that in with a couple swcrews then they cleaned out my miniscus bcause i tore it too then there is a small tendon behind my knee cap that i tore and they put together so i have like a 4 inch cut down my knee where they went in and a couple little holes in my leg today was my first day of rehab and it sucks

I probably won't get anything new for '08, I just got a new board last June and I am not sponsored, like some people.
How much of a discount do you get for being sponsored?

"I am not sponsored, like some people"

lol shut up chris.

its weird,

I turn in my old board and bindings, and they give me my new ones, its like trading in your car for a new one and not paying the difference,

plus a little over 50% off the whole proshop pretty much.
