hs front flips

i started messing with these the other day. my friends were say the rotation was stalling 1/2 thru. i few i landed on the tail but didnt ride away from any of them. my question is do you release the trick towards the back of the boat, towards the shore or somewhere in between? i was trying to throw it somewhere in between but "the book" says to throw it to the back of the boat. any thoughts? also the handle kept working itself to my back hip. anyone else have that problem?

you ever tried them off the DU? it will shoot you up and you will have more time to land and figure things out... just a suggestion...

make sure u wait for the pop right off the wake, going to early will only make it harder to get fill rotation, throw the front flip by putting ur ear to ur shoulder and keeping the handle to ur hips, try to make it a continuous motion, i throw it towards the back of the boat. trampoline practice wont hurt either
