So I finally got the guts to try a tantrum. My first attempts were terrible, but after that I could nearly land on the board without the rope. A few more tries after that I could almost land it with the rope.
I'll give you a list of what I feel is happening on my attempts:
1. I cut out, start cutting fairly fast (detention "get on the gas right away")
2. Wait till a few feet to the wake to let off, then at the top of the wake flip.
3. I get this weird feeling like I'm being pulled like a 180 while I'm in the air. ????
4. Spot the water, then land, but there seems to be so much tension I can't hold on. Could be board angle, approach?

One more thing I'm landing about 3/4th across the wake, so I'm wondering how to clear the wake and do the flip.

If you guys have any step by step instructions that would be great. thanks.
