Slingshot Ad "The Truth on Flex" & other crazy ads

I was scanning some ads and such on humanoid wake for the recent thread about graphics and thought id scan and put up the recent ad on Slingshot too 'cause i thought it was a pretty crazy ad, and a full spread at that too.

my first thoughts was, "Ahhh... man, that's gona get some people going" (as in a little mad maybe.. i mean, the watson is "busted", the marek, and even the sub 6 i know it is just an ad) my next reaction was to laugh (but not in a mocking way)

any other thoughts on the ad or other ads (seems like there have been quite a few LARGE and off-the-wall ads recently for multiple companies. Co. ads take the cake though)

I think its a great ad. I mean if you can break those boards but not a slingshot, then why not advertise that? I do not think this ad is saying those boards are bad. Just clearing up the common misconception that flex boards are easy to break. This is coming from someone that rides one of those broken boards...
