Only advice I have is buy last years stuff, whatever you buy. Never pay full price.

I have to say, demo the boards too if you can. I did (since I'm new to the sport anyway), and I feel much better about the board I got, I agree if you are willing to buy '03 since the '04's are coming out, you can probably save quite a bit of cash. I have an '02 Belmont. Price was right and I'm really happy with it. Don't forget decent bindings.

i ride hyperlite myself, but from what i have seen at the local shop here you can get a nice double up board and bindings for that or less, try trinitys shop she sends you one out for me and you ride it free for 30 days

hey thanx for all the help i got a 2003 hyperlite fluid 137 and 2003 high back bindings for 200.00 plus tax.... good deal.... there lil bit tight around the toe is there a way to losen them up
