Andy,

Didn't you know... socks are in these days.

I've heard rumor that leg warmers are going to be all the rage for 09.

Gotta go, gonna get some fall riding of my own this morning.

Andy,

It's an ankle brace, but when it gets a little colder I am thinking of adding some socks, or even better, as Cliff suggested, maybe leg warmers

Derek,

No, that is not the case! I think the best time of the year will be when you and Deb are here next year from July-September, then you can also enjoy these great conditions!

DRA-Doug,

That would be Newman Lake, just outside Spokane.

Thanks for posting those pics of that new Intox. The best time to ride is definitely upon us (or at least very near!).

And 2mm wetsuit booties work great under skate shoes.

Lake Roosevelt last weekend, right up the middle of the channel. Pic is of my buddy and his wife, both beginners, having a blast doubling for the 1st time.

JJakober, you riding much out at Newman lately? We'll be hitting Lake Spokane a few nights this week if you are interested. That goes for anyone else in Spokane as well. Love this time of year
