Hyperlite won all five qualifing heats, and has the braging rights until next years contest!

Maybe next year we should have a more comprehensive contest to make it more fair. In addition to rails we could add waterskiing, kneeboarding or hopscotch.

It was fun event with really good sliding. Mike Schwenne really impressed me and so did Ryan Watkins. The judges were great, Spencer Smith, Grant Roberts and Walt Leonard (WCW). All of them had it scored exactly the same. Arun Francis was out there taking pictures, so I hope he post a few. The 5150 crew did a great job stting up the course. I am sure CWB will come much stronger next year!

All the CWB guys were busy at home still trying to figure out what Hyperlite is trying to accomplish with the system.

but seriously, it was a fun event and great idea to get a bunch of wake/rail riders togeather. I always love going to events like these because it gets us all to the same place to catch up and BS with eachother. CWB or Hyperlite...we are all wakeboarders and out for the same thing.

Before all of the Hyperlite heads swell too many hat sizes, let it be known that CWB dominated the podium in the wake contests. If you want to make it a true battle of the brands, include wake. After all, our sport is called WAKEboarding.

if thats the case why do they have it on tour? Its part of the reason why riders from this area dont do as well as their orlando counterparts in contests....

And big ups to F1F Ryan for taking second overall in the rail jam

Soli-

The battle of the brands was only sliders. Sliders account for roughly 20% of the tour scoring I was simply pointing out that CWB dominated the podium in most of the divisions in the wake contest.
Agreed that West Coast Tour riders are at a distinct disadvantage where rails are concerned.
