sorry to post in 2 places i posted on the discussion board. I have a san 210 and was looking at the fae so i can hear the stereo better without blasting my kids on the boat. does anyone have experience with these. i also do not like having to turn up the sound every time i take off and lower it when someone falls

1) FAE is the bomb and is just what you are after. Not only does it eradicate exhaust noise it does away with fumes as well.

2) Get the HSE RVC, its a speed control that raises and lowers the volume when you speed up and slow down.

I have both. FAE is great.

As for the RVC...I have a Sanger V210...and the HSE RVC has issues with the Merc EMS / ignition noise. I supposedly need to get a signal gen that connects to the alt to make it work right.... HSE contacted me...I have just not gotten around to getting the part ordered...reason being running a wire to the back of the boat is going to be a pain to do right...given how I have my boat wiring set up... I am not one to just string a random wire. I like things tidy. To put the wire into the existing loom, I will have to tear my entire boat apart! Sure would have been nice to know this when I had it all apart last year...

I have been on other boats where the RVC worked as intended...and it was great.

I will be installing my FAE this week. One thing I do when there is a rider is run the tower speakers only. You can still hear it in the boat but not blasting you out. I have a seperate amp for just the tower and the WS control unit (forgot part number) that allows me to turn up only the tower or boat or both if I want.

Love my FAE the boat is really really quiet. When you turn to get the rider you can hear the rumble sneak out. Very good feature, Larry is great to work with. $50 off right now too

"My" FAE was a great addition ... a troublesome one, but great. The first time out was remarkable but, sadly like all new good things, I take it for granted by now. Oh ... and Larry most graciously helped me out of a crunch.
