Need some help pulling speaker wire through my tower. I know there was a thread on here recently, but can't find it. Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

String and shop vac works well... If that fails for you you can also try some small wire, say 18-20G, fish it on down and grab with a pair of needlenose pliars...

I used a roll of sauter (SIC). I tworked first try after messing around with string and a shop vac for an hour. The string kept getting tangled and gooed up by the oil inside the tower

uae an electrician's fish tape, and deburr the inside of the holes really well before you fish the wires.

Something that was on the other post that is important is to use real light string like dental floss at first (easier to suck up)

Also, if you are using monster cable or somthing similar, the cables stick to each other and can be very difficult to pull. I used binding slime and it was 1000 times easier.
