I have a 1992 ski ray boat and all i wanted to get was a switch for my dash, because i have an extra slot with a dummy switch in it. so on good friday i went to sea ray and ordered one. they said that i would recive it in no time, then yesterday 05/10/06 they called me and said that they no longer carried that part? what the hell. does anybody know of a good place to get stock parts?

your boat is almost 15 years old, I would have been skeptical of someone telling me they had the oem part. Have you tried www.skidim.com A switch should be pretty easy to match up to OEM.

Ski Ray bought the switch from someone. Look at a higher level.

If I recall correctly (and that was a long time ago), the Ski Ray used a standard Perko switch with a Sea Ray switch cover. You may want to see if you can remove the switch cover and see if there are pop-offs for the cover to actuate. You may find that a stardard marine grade switch may bolt into place with the existing switch cover to work it.
