I have never pulled the drain plugs in my boat.

I tried pulling both of them tonight. But i twisted them as hard as i could by hand, and they didn't budge.

They are all brass and form kind of a handle at the top so i suppose you twist them and pull up to get them out, but i never have pulled them so i wasn't sure.

Do i just need to get a wrench on 'em or something so i can get some more force?

Yes you need to get a wrench on them at the bottom not the 't' or you will twist them off and they cost 35.00 each to replace. Joe

Thanks for the info! I wouldn't have known that they should be loosed at the bottom.

The "T" at the top looked like handle to me, lucky i didn't force it before.

99% of the time the t-handle at the top is what you will use to get the plug out. It's the 1% that you need a wrench but i've still put a wrench on the t handle part and have never twisted one off. Those things are pretty beefy.

thats what happens when you leave them in for a long time. they tend to get locked in there pretty good. and you never want to crank them down much tighter than finger tight.
