I'm from Argentina, trying to figure out wich tower design is better for me to make for my boat, want something that looks cool and confortable to later add racks, lights etc.
My boat is 18ft, I/O around 7 ft wide
There a photo of my boat

Well, you don't see towers on boats like that usually, but here's an idea......

Is it safe to ride in that water? It reminds me of the Summer X-games in Philly the first year when it rained and the Skukyll River was filled with debris. The riders said the smell to nauseating!

Jamie, is that a joke? I think he's talking about the white boat! For one, the yellow one is an outboard.

Of course it's a frickin' joke! C'mon man! (damn funny, too. I thought.)

Hah that was pretty funny.

I am wondering the same. I was planning to make a tower but I thought that I may as well go all out and make a tower. I am going to pretty much copy the design of the 2002 EPCO TUFF TOWER
but I will add a couple improvements (horizontal bars). Here is what I am basically going to make.

I am going to make it out of galvanized steel and still have to figure out how I can slide the whole unit in and out of slightly larger tubes so I can make it detachable. To fasten it in I will likely use a pin. Anyways, that is my basic idea.

Jamie,

You crack me up man. I needed that after as many hours as I've been putting in lately, truly appreciated. It actually resembles the boat I learned to ski behind (11' John Boat with 20 hp Merc Tiller Steer)

Luciano,

Check out www.diyTower.com for some ideas on stuff you can use to make your own. The "mini tower" by www.Barewest.com, www.GatorTuff.com or www.BossAccessories.com would be really easy to knock off. Boss does a far superior job with the bases and joint but they are all really simple designs that could be made with really basic equipment.

We'd love to have a customer in Argentina, send me an email at bill@monstertower.com if you want me to check air frieght prices to you on a Monster Tower.

Bill
