wi riders getting ready???

last year i started the season april 16th ive got a couple weeks left on the slopes and then im ready and looking for a good crew to ride with ive got a tfd and a boat with a tower a jetski and a rave slider......this is call out to anyone interested in riding.....berner and crew you guys were great last year and i apologize for any problems hoping to see you guys plenty this year so we can all progress and step it up....any other takers?

I'll be a third if you need one and I'm open. I'm on the UW waterski team so I'll be out with them sometimes. I'm not stellar but I love to ride in any temp. and I'm always ready to step it up.

Hey Mike, new season with a clean slate. I know I speak for all of us Wisconsinites when I say I can't wait to get out. Don't really know what the plan for the upcoming summer is, but hopefully we can all get out again at least few times

Aaron i had a great year on the slopes stepped it up to 540's and 720's over the fourty foot jump.....that one im proud of....still skiing for a couple more weeks and by the way aaron are you coming back to madison for the summer?

Just waiting for the last bit of ice to melt on my lake and we'll be riding. I pulled the boat out of the garage today to dust it off and get it ready. I'm hoping for this weekend, but I'll be out for sure before April. If anyone wants to ride near Milwaukee, let me know. Joe

wow i thought i was nuts, like i said im still on the snow!!

I'm up for riding whenever. I live in neenah but my girlfriend is moving to Madison. I should be in Madison quite a bit. I've got a ski brendella w/ a monkey bar I ride behind up here but would be more than willing to chip in ga$ to ride w/ you guys down in Madison. Being able to ride AND visit the girl would be nice!

I am ready for the season for sure, got lots of new gear and just ichin to use it.

Mike we should get that madison wakeboarding event together and have a jolly ol time. I like it when its cold cuz all the idiots are off the lake so like may or june would be a good time to have a get together.

I got a fat sac, vest, rope, handle, wakeskate, and i am looking to get a new board and bindings but i am waiting for rich to get his stuff.

I won't be back in Madison until mid May. I might get out with the Stout Ski Team a few times up here before then. My summer plans are still a little up in the air becuase I'm not sure where I'll be working and such. I can't wait, I only got a small taste of my new set up last year.

Hey mike how is that knee doing?? Did you know that steve got knee surgery like two weeks ago and he wont board for like two months?

Mike i dont really know how steve hurt his knee he thinks its from sports in the past and basketball mainly, but he said he would drive for us a little.

my heart is with him mna, some people will never understand how the love fuels the desire but hopefully he can have a full season when the times right for him, looking back i think i was stupid for boarding as much as i di d with a bum knee, there was times i couldnt walk yet id still strap my board on and try hucking backrolls, which again takes me back to the love......tyrools closed guys anyone who waants to do a jetski run hit me up345-1027

Sorry Mike, I'm still up here in Menomonie. The lake up here is still iced over, but it's thawing. It should be open by the end of the week if the weather stays nice enough.

aaron, i am lookig for someone to ride with in menomonie and the waterski team here pretty much just about skiing and not boarding i am only here untill mid may though (study aborad student)

Nick, I am actually on the ski team here, that is pretty much my only riding oppurtunity up here. Yeah, it kinda sucks having to split so much time with everyone, but it's pretty cool. There are a couple of us who primarily wakeboard.

Mike what do you think about a easter weekend session on your boat, most likely saturday??? My boat is still in storage.

big couches....they are awesom..and i am not one of those wierdos that puts like illegal drugs and dead hookers in the cushions...those people are so weird. anyway, i am on lake benedict.....and we are putting in an a-frame with permit....60 ft long....and then we are making a step up. 2000 super air....jet ski....and i just got divorced....so i am so full of rage and beer all the time....this summer is going to be the best...anyway,gotta go to bowling practice right now....but give me a e-mail and we will talk about it.....if more people are interested in sleeping on my couches than i have couches we can always split beds and stuff....i am totally down with that....just like the good old college frat days.

Man, i went home from college this past weekend and it was depressing! All the lakes around Cumberland still have a nice layer of ice covering them, and people are still ice fishing and riding snowmobile across the lakes. I have a feeling i won't be on the lake for a few weeks yet

Okay... you guys are all talk here. Has anyone even gotten out yet? Just Kidding. I got 2 sets in on Fox Lake on March 27th and it wasn't too bad at all with the dry suit. Just being out made me forget that it was even cold. Those two days of 60s and 70s were torture... too nice, and I didn't even get out.

Nope no boat mike. I'm on the UW Waterski/Wakeboard team and hopefully we'll be pulling next week. I had a friend testing out a boat on the 27th, it was an older ski supreme but it was riding ! I can't wait for summer though... this cold weather can leave anytime it wants.

Is tomorrow (saturday) looking good Mike? I will be ready to go if it's possible, just behind the jet ski or whatever, I need to ride. Give Scot or me a call (608-215-7044) or I might be able to give you a ring later on.

greg make it to madison anytime starting in a couple weeks and all are welcome, aaron tomorrow is good behind the jetski but im warning you i went on the rock river in janesville today with gordon and thankfully he was nice enough to let me use his drysuit (not to mention supply the boat gas etc) and that proved to me that at minimum we need a wetsuit, i think i can provide that.....thanks gordon, aaron see ya tomorrow tell scott to bring the skate.... oh and by the way folks i was rusty as hell!!! barely pulled a w2w 180 and did a couple face plants.....but it was fun neways

I had a blast today guys. Thanks for the pull on the jetski Mike. It didn't last long, and it was cold, but it was exactly what I needed. Keep in touch and I'll see you in a few weeks, hopefully by then it will be just a tad warmer.

with that said I really like my absolute! good pop, loose when you want it to be, nice soft landings and will last me a long long time!

it seems like there are a lot more madison area riders on this site than on wakeboarder.com. Anyways I have been looking to catch some rides this summer. I bartend on state street on the weekends and I have plenty of spare time and gas money. I also have all of my own gear. Thanks for the pull last year Gordon and for steering me to this site. I'd like to ride more often with you this summer but janesville is kind of a hike. I've ridden for several years now and would love to hit rails and ramps as well as wakeskate with any of you guys. What I'm really looking for is a crew that just likes to ride. I'd fit right in.
