Im looking at an older Sanger 1992 DX2,direct drive, was wondering if anyone has any comments on type of wake, quality of boat, fuel milage, ect. I know original owner and he took very good care of and it has under 400 hours. He wants 11,000.00 which seems a bit high(he might take less).Ive found Sangers are hard to find and this one is in excellent condition. No tower ,but has bimini top,new batt.,boat cover, tires.Owner says he stores it with trailer on jackstands!thanks

I had one and with some extra weight they throw a great wake! Plus they handle great and are easy on gas.

Outstanding boat..for a DD, they have a pretty solid following as wake boats. The ski wake is a bit harsh at speeds under 34, but gets real nice at 36. 11K is a pretty good deal if it is the boat I am thinking of in Nor Cal..that boat is spotless judging from the pics.

I have a '90 and am a total Sanger fan. Last February, I was looking half heartedly and found a DX2 in great shape. I used it all summer without any problems and while an open bow would be nice, I rarely need to take out more than four or five people. Perfect amount for the boat. This winter, I added a shower, wet sanded the gelcoat (because I'm obsessive), extensive work on the trailer, and installed new glass with heavy tint. That should tell you I plan to keep it for a long while unless something comes up. Nice wake without a ton of weight and easy on fuel. Towing is a breeze as well. Check my profile pic.

^^^^ That's not a DXII, it's a DX. DXII's came out in 92, and have a one piece front windshield. Your boat looks very nice, though.

Wow, not a lot of freeboard though. I'd love to see one of these, but they're not readily available in the Midwest, so far as I can tell.

I had a 90 DXII.Loved it.Ran flawless. I sold mine for 10k,and it had everything. Only drawback for us was it was a bit small. Sometimes,I wish we still had it. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

There is a 1998 Sanger v210 with 80 hours for 18k in Austin. It has a tower and racks. For 7k more, you would have a v-drive.
