I’m replacing the sub under my helm. Originally it was firing into the hull, this time I’m having it firing into the boat. My question is what type of sealant/gasket are you using to mount the fascia board to the actual box. I’m assuming you mount the speaker thru the fascia board as well as the box.

I don't know what it's called but I've used a type of puddy looking material that is sticky but not permanent and forms a good seal.

Liquid nails or some clear sealant/caulk will probably work too.
