does anyone know how wakeboard companies develop the foam cores for their wakeboards? I wanted to experiement with making some boards but i dont want to make a 50 pound piece of junk that doesnt work very well any ideas about how to make the core??

I think its almost a paste or liquid thats poured into a press with the laminents on top and bottom then there pressed and some how maybe heat or somethin hardens the paste. I could be totally wrong thats just how i think they do it.
