OK, does that look like someone attached a swing set structure to their boat? Some tower mfgs are making some real ugly towers......

That thing is homemade!! Last year I saw a runabout at the lake with a homemade tower that looked similar to that except this had the two uprights staight up and some small braces that went towards the back. The pipe they made the tower from looked like it had just come off an oil rig, They did not even paint it, it was just rusty 2" pipe. For the tow point they had a shinty new trailer ball on top. Problme was this thing was about 8' tall and there is no way they could easily change rope lenght. The redneck did look like they were having fun though!!

You can see why I used tinyurl

It's a 1998 Mastercraft PS190 in Lethbridge Alberta with a swing set attached

You need a ladder just to attach the tow rope! That thing is BIG

That is a good way to ruin a 30th anniversary boat.

The owner should be shot in the head for that one.

Watch out for low underpasses and electrical wires too. It doesn't look like it breaks down at all. I bet it is easily 12-15' off the road surface.

Does that tower double as a clothes rack in the off season?

An absolute abomination. Not only destroying a 30th Anniv. boat but doing it so distastefully. I'll bet the windshield dips into the water when the rider pulls outside the wake and 32 grand for that tub? Even with that Canadian monopoly money that's way too high. Maybe the Canadian Royally Mounted Navy will buy it. They can use as a lookout tower for ships in the night.

For that $$$ on that new of a boat get one with the factory tower installed. Someone took the "bigger is better" idea WAY outside the wake. Unless someone can show some really solid engineering data on that tower there WILL be some serious problems ahead.
