Liquid Force Balance replacement?

Searched the forums, Board Guide, and LF's website but can't seem to find the answer...

2005 appears to be the last model year of the LF Balance - what board replaced it in their lineup?

Look into Free motion boards
I think they have the Balance mold now.

The closest thing you are gonna get in a new model is gonna be the Team or the Trip.

Michael,

This year I went from a 2004 Balance to a Shane. The Shane is really like a balance on steroids. The pop is a little better, the landings are a TON softer, and it's just as fast as the Balance. The Shane is a little looser than the Balance if you are used to riding a Balance with the center fin. But if you ride your Balance with the center fin out then the Shane will definitely be a little on the grippy side. If you can't find the new Balance mold you are looking for I think the Shane would be a good alternative.

I second the shane, my buddy went from the balance to the shane and loves it.

Richard - thanks for the info. I ordered a new FM Influence for $150 shipped yesterday.

Will see how it goes. I rode a friends Balance again this morning and loved it. I am able to hold my edge better and get more consistent pop than with my Absolute (finless). The balance had the .8 0r .9 in the middle and .6 cupped on the ends.

Will definitely keep the Shane in mind if needed in the future.

I went from a 135 balance to my friends 136 Shane and all i can say is i will never go back to the balance. The Shane holds it's edge like nothing else but is nice and loose in the middle. The landings are super soft compared to the balance.
