Cost of a boat in south bay

I'm lucky enough to be in the situation where I can get the boat for free but all costs around it will be my responsibility. I'm trying to make sure everything will fit inside of my budget and still have money left to use the boat. I can think of the following things that i'll have to deal with but don't really know the pricing in this area too well, I just moved down recently.

Insurance, boat fuel, towing fuel, storage, miscellaneous unexpected expenses, registration.

How much do you think this will break down to on a monthly basis. I know the fuel costs are variable and dependant on usage etc, I'd also be hoping (not expecting) for help out on that but things like storage and insurance are more predictable values.

07 malibu vlx with around 300 hours on it. Its time for a service on it but otherwise we've done annual maintanence with no problems. Only thing it needs is a little more love to the stereo to get it working right

I was in the same situation as you. Insurance is cheap, for me somewere around $600 dollars a year. You can do what i do and store my boat at Orwoods, I think $200 month for storage. But heres the kicker, you get free launch with the storage. Everything else pretty much depends on how much you use it. The gas of course is expensive and the maintanince is cheap.
