Today had to be one of the best wakeboarding days that I have ever had. Brian Francis came out to Long Lake in Washington with the pro-tour X-Star and gave my wife, my best friend, and myself lessons.

I had never met Brian so we were not sure what to expect when we showed up. Brian was an awesome guy and an awesome teacher. We had so much fun hanging out with him and his friend Greg. We got to the lake at about 9:30 this morning and we didn’t end up leaving until 6:00 this evening. The instructions that Brian gave to all of us were extremely helpful.

After the day was done Brian had taught me the tantrum, backroll, and ts fs 180. I never ended up sticking the tantrum or backroll but I did land on my board most of the time. Hopefully this weekend I can get the backroll dialed in and continue to work on the tantrum. My wife dialed in her w2s healside jumps and Brian taught her how to go w2w from her toeside. My buddy Ryan learned the fs ts 180 and got some instructions on his backroll. Brian also gave us great instructions concerning a progressive edge, which gave us all a ton of pop off of the wake from both sides.

I would really like to thank Brian for being so patient and so helpful; I have never received instruction that was even comparable to Brian’s. I would also like to thank Brian's sponsors (MasterCraft, Blindside, GM, PolkMomo, Nice and not sure on the others) for giving him the opportunity to ride and instruct. I hope that his sponsors know that Brian is a first class guy.

Thanks a ton Brian.

You met special Greg huh? That what his brother calls him! He's a good rider but takes some diggers! Brian is a great guy, glad to hear you had such a good experience with him.
