2006 VLX Impeller

I was told that the impeller for my 06 VLX is the Johnson 812. I was also told that the Globe 100J is the better Impeller. Is this true?

I want to order a couple of them. One to replace and one to have on my boat just in case. I want the better of the two.

Brannon there is a group buy on the globe's over at themalibucrew.com. The globe is a better impeller, supposedly can run it dry for 15 min without causing damage. I personally wouldn't want to try it but that's what they claim.

Could find the group buy on Malibucrew so just ordered it through www.defender.com 2 for $79.97 with shipping. Probably paid too much, but oh well.

You did alright I wouldn't worry about it.
