bill is right, the best plate position is the 3/4 up. also make sure you have enough weight up front. the extra ballast needs to be spread evenly throughout the entire boat, bow to stern, port to starboard. it sounds like you dont have enough weight in the bow. i have rode in & behind the 24 with no "washing" problems at all. don't worry---- you'll figure it out! the wake is awesome once you get it dialed.
