Hello Deltaite's

A small group of us from Seattle are going to be heading down to the Delta to visit Christie Fisher and do some riding Nov 20-21.

I've been skunked the last two times I was down there, once due to timing, and the second you guys had the worst rain storm in twenty five years. This time, I don't care if there's a fricken hurricane, I'm riding the Delta.

We'd love to meet some of you guys if your interested in hooking up.

Umali,

It would be great to ride the Delta with you. My only fear is whenever your in Christie's boat, something always seems to go wrong.

J-Rod,

That sounds great, I'll give you a call when I get a chance.

Umali,

we'll see. the problem is the following weekend, which is thanksgiving weekend, the girlfriend and i are headin' up to south dakota to spend the holiday with her family. so i'm not so sure she's going to want to travel on the road one weekend, and fly the following weekend. we'll see tho.

Everyone cross their fingers for perfect Delta weather for Cliff's virgin delta run (hmmmm...can Cliff and Virgin be used in the same sentence??)

Joe - You guys should come up, but you and I will have to ride in separate boats for sure! I know Henry probably doesn't want us in his boat together ever again!!

J-Rod - shoot me an email and we will coordinate!

I'm there. I've been real busy since moving to Sacramento and would love to get back on the water that weekend. I'll either bring my boat down or talk to Mark about going out on his boat that weekend. I'm sure that Christie will be riding both days, but is there one day versus the other that everyone would like to meet up? I'm assuming that everyone will be meeting at Orwood.
Let's hope for great weather that weekend. It should be fun.

I'll ride like I've died, and gone to heaven if those are the conditions when we're down there.

We rode Saturday afternoon, Water 52, air 50, and we considered it a warm day for this time of year.

Hope all is well. For me, things have never been better,

At least Brad has meds to make it through the nice weather this weekend here in Seattle without going out on the boat. Maybe he can share some with me to help me get through it. I will be here dreaming of that w2w I still haven't made.

We better bring plenty of liquor. Depending on which forecast you believe, calling for 9-16 mph winds out of Brentwood. That's usually enough to keep me home even in the summer, but oh well, have to suck it up when the Seattle crew is in town!

Christie and Cliff, thanks for trying to hook me up but I have a rather full weekend. Next time. Hopefully, that will be at Shasta Lake some time this summer.

Have a great trip. Enjoy the water!

Best regards,
