i was thinking 14 or 16 gauge but what does everyone recommend?

14 minimum. How many speakers, what impedance, and what power are you pushing to them? You may need 12

I ran 14 to mine. I'm pushing 75 watts to them at 4 ohms and it seems to be working great so far, but I wouldn't go any less than 14.

16 gauge is fine for runs under 25' running 200 watts or less.

probably the kmt6. 4 ohm 150 watts each
