Board Questions

I need someone hook up here. I ride a 2005 LF 138 Substance right now and it is way messed. I am lookin to get a new board. I really like the way this substance rides but am thinking about going to the new Watson board. I am almost positive that is the board I want, but the size is what is slayin me. Do I go with the 142 or stay with the 138? A lot of guys I talk to say bigger is better, it pops and lands way nicer. Any suggestions?

I ride finless now on that 138 fins or no fins on a bigger board?

I just got the LF Axis 139. I am same heigth / weight as you and went down from a 142 and am loving it. Demo if you can. The Axis is amazing.

I am 6ft, 188 and get plenty of height and pop on my 138, I think they rec up to 215 or more(ck website)....but demo if can..I actually never tried the 142, just went with LF recomendation.
Last boards were the Fish 133 and Obrien Player 143...this is way better

Dude i have the watson board...im 5'9" and 160 i ride the 138 and its perfect...huge pop and plenty of it. The boarde is sick. One of the smoothest i have riden and i had the 3ds before. Its a sick board. And the disign is tight too.

id get the 142 but the watson is prlly a way different board than the substance...but with the 138 ucan prolly spin faster sicne its a smaller board.
