How fast you guys rip around on the dunes?

Do they really double tow the trailer and popup?. Thats got to be squirly on the roads!! Not to mention I guess you never want to back that up!! Completely not legal here in CO. Not bumper to bumper. The second rig has to be a 5th wheel in order to do that. oh wait, looks as if the trailer may be a 5th wheel hookup. Hummmm.

Nice Trace! didn't know you had a 500. Is that at Hidden Falls? I want to get out there with you guys. My back is starting to feel a bit better.

I haven't towed it myself, but that guy knows what he's doing. The flatbed in front is a heavy duty gooseneck, prob 15k GVWR trailer. The popup won't yank it around much. It is legal here in TX with a length restriction. Not sure if the front trailer style matters but I wouldn't do it with two bumper pulls.

Those pics were from www.redrivermotorcyclepark.com a couple months back. I sold that 500 shortly after that trip. Except for my 380, bikes come and go for me a lot - I have 5 right now. :-) Glad to hear about your back.

I've been kinding of wanting a 500 for the trails. I was seriously considering getting the one linked below, but decided not to because I want a DRZ400SM first. I love those 500's and have respect for the guys who saddle them.

Do they rent RV's at Hidden Falls? I work on an Air Force base and they rent out RV's dirt cheap. When are you guys making another trip?

Yeah, they have 1 RV (04 27' Jayco w/3 beds, $100/night) for rent there. We rented it a couple weeks ago. MUCH easier than hauling one. Might go day ride somewhere this weekend, but probably not camping for a while. I'll keep you posted.

He's got the title... CR500SM!! A spare set of wheels with dirt tires would be required too.
