Why I didn't go wakeboarding last week...

Okay I know you'd rather see wakeboarding photos but we had a killer swell come into So Cal mid to end of last week. Didn't take many pics cause I was too busy surfing, but here's some photos from surfline. Enjoy.

Why is everyone wearing fullsuits in August? Has the water stayed cold this year? I always trunked it summer time at newps.

The water has been all over the place. Yeah, it's been pretty cold lately. When the waves are that good you want to surf as long as possible and it sucks to have to go in cause your cold.

Got to love that crazey wedge break. Being that the wave has about an 9 foot face and the water is about 20" deep it is no joke. Great pics man.

i didn't know southern california got that kind of surf in the summer.

every day i hear 1-2 poor on the surf report. if it's good they say 2-3 fair.

You can count on your fingers how many times a year we get this kind of surf, it's not every day that's for sure. But I tell ya, no one worked much last week.
