Hey all

Heading to Powell for a week this summer. We're renting a houseboat and wondering about some good spots to beach. We have a GPS so any coordinates if anyone has any would work too. Thanks

Since the lake level changes so frequently, all of our good spots are probably about 30 feet above or below the water line. There are tons of sandy spots to pull into, you just have to be patient and find them. Its best to have a scout boat or sea doo go look for the sandy spots while the houseboat stays in the main cove. It will save you lots of gas and time and probably a few props on the houseboat. Have fun, its the best week of your life.

the escalante arm has good water if you go back far enough. but the best time to ride on the lake is early morning because no water traffic. you can ride the main channel forever it seems like. you will have the best experience of your life. having fun is the most important thing though.
