cold water and Parks

OK guys I went out yesterday for the first time this year and used my 03 Parks bindings for the first time as well--

How much are these things going to loosen up??

I know the cold water (40 deg.) and newness of the bindings will have something to do with them being stiff--but dang it took me 15 minutes to get them on and another 15 to get them off!

I assume they are the correct size? - XL with a 11.5 foot

Should I do the hot water or boil thing??
