Doug or anyone else. I'm going to be replacing the MB discus series speakers in my Boss B-530 cannisters and going with something that is a bit more high end. For the money what is a good speaker other than MB Quart? Also if you were to buy another set of MB which one would it be? ALso will these speakers fit in the cannisters without any alterations? Another silly quesion, how does the tweeter come out of the cannister?

I use CDT High Definition mid ranges and MB Quart Q series tweeters and cross overs. The High definition mid ranges are less than $ 200 a pair on the internet, but you do not get anything but two speakers, no grills. You can get grills from the CDT website.

The MB Quart Q series will not play as loud as or handle the wattage of the CDTs and I think the CDTs are clearer sounding.
