Caught an edge on a scarecrow today, pretty bad. Anyone ever ruptured an ear drum before? I don't think I have a concussion, have had a few of those and this one didn't have similar symptoms (no puking, dizzyness, migraine). I have a like ringing in my left ear and a headache. Anyone think I should be worried about my ear drum?

I've done it. Could you hear out of it after? When I did mine, I instantly could not hear anything out of that ear. If your ear is just ringing then I wouldn't worry about it... but I'm not a Dr.

If you have ruptured your ear drum, then you will absolutely know it. Broken lots of bones before and the pain of a busted ear drum is about on par. Don't mess around with your hearing. I will go see an ENT if things don't improve today.

Thanks guys, It seems like my hearing is fine today so I'm hoping/thinking I should be fine (I really don't want to go to the ER for the third time for this year....). lol, headache still isn't gone, but it isn't concussion bad =). Happy riding!

+1

I've done it and it is awful. If you twist / tilt your head quickly does the pain almost send you to your knees? That was how mine felt.... like 2 weeks of walking around like a robot
