So, I upgraded the rear ballast bags to the Fly High Jumbo Surf sacs in my 2009 22SSV. They are 1100lbs but, I won't get that much from them in my back compartments. I have the stock bag in front and no other sacs at this time. The stock sacs have glued in attachments so I can't use those now. So my question is how can I get the most out of this setup on both regular and goofy sides?

FWIW, the cemented adapters on your stock bag can be removed. There are instructions on the wakemakers.com blog. I've done it several times and it's not difficult, but will take 20-30 minutes of heating with a hairdryer.

Thanks for the advice. Anyone have some good suggestions for settting up the boat with what I have currently available?

To start, fill the surfside rear bag, fill the center bag. Get a tsunami pump and put the stock 400 lb bag on the surfside rear seat.

I have a '09 21v and can guide you to weighing that boat pretty well for surfing, but the 22 hull is different. You may want to try the Supra forum for more info.

Have a 24 but the hulls are fairly similar. We have two 400 pound bags in the rear compartment and all the human ballast on the surf side, and it is giving us a fairly steep and long pocket. Much better then the stock ballast
