Just purchased a supreme v208 with 45 hours. Boat has stock ballast, 400lbs up front and two 500lbs in the back. Any thoughts about surfing behind it the way it is or am i gonnna have to get a sack or two to get some more weight in the back I have wakeboarded a lot but never done any surfing on my own just off other boats mostly malibu. Any input would be great. thanks in advance

The stock ballast is 360 lbs. in each rear side and 280 lbs. in the front on the Supremes.I have a '07 V 212 ,on top of the stock rear tank I use a pro x series v-drive sac (440 lbs) and a couple fat bricks(155 lbs ea) on the surf side,no stock front ballast on mine I run a tube sac (360 lbs) in the bow and wake plate around 70-80% down. You can surf with what you have but the sweet spot will be small and close to the swim platform.

Unless they changed something, the 208's had no center ballast? The 212's do I think, but regardless you need to add at least one sack in the bow and one on what ever side you're surfing at minimum on top of the factory ballast, and bring lots of friends. wakebrdjay is correct not a very big range to ride on the 208 load it down and then add more. That sounds about right on the tab 75% we run at almost 12mph on the 208 if on not mistaken, I know it was faster than the other two boats. The boat is too wide and stubby the surf wake can't get enough transition, strange never really got a great surf wake from that boat. Wakeboard wake is good!
