I've been looking to upgrade to the 2012 Hyperlite Marek Bio, any reviews or opinions on the board? Quality, learning curve, etc? Also, I really like the CWB torq bindings and have some from a few years back. Any reviews or opinions on the new 2012's? I think it would be an awesome and unique set up. Thanks

get factions, marius, or answers instead, unless theres a bunch of different foot sizes that need to share the board...

^ Agreed. The torqs would not do that board justice...

and all 3 would look dope on the board, especially marius or factions. i ve ridden answers and factions, theyre pretty sweet, dont see myself riding anything other than those two or maybe some marius or ronix one

Thanks for the advice. I've just always been a fan of the open-toed bindings. I'll look into those other bindings, thanks.

Thanks for the help. Anybody else have any reviews or opinions? I know the 2012 gear is new and people may not have ridden it yet, so any comments on the 2011 Marek bio, and 2011 CWB torq's?

The Marek for 2012 is a completely new shape than 2011. It is supposed to pop as far, yet be faster and release a little sooner. Rusty calls it Lightning in a bottle.

I've just changed bindings from the CWB Answer to the Hyperlite Mareks and they are definitley an improvement..... Maybe a matching board and binding set may be in order

I have a LF Harley and wanting to try some Hyperlite System Bindings on my board. Anyone have the same particular set-up or similar?

The CWB Torque and Vapor are still my favorite boots. I like low cut. I love the hinge. And I'll ride open toe as long as I can. I think that setup looks awesome.
