What are you asking?
Are you asking if the faction board rides any different with the 4 metal fins on the board?
If so, yes it makes a big difference, although you can ride the Faction with no fins and it still holds a good edge, its a different riding board with the fins on.

Without the fins, its like riding a stiff roam board. I use one for my slider board.

What you should find though, are the small absolute platinum fins. They slow the board down just a bit, and it still grips the water just fine.

I'm riding the '08 with the small Absolute fins and love the ride. When I first got it I was missing nose fins and it was a real pain, so slippery. With the Absolute fins the thing rocks, huge pop and a great release off the wake.
