Positives/Negatives to the ERA. Looking to buy one, i'm 5'9" 210 intermediate (few inverts). Any suggestions of size 137 or 142?

i love mine. i have an 04 id like to get an 02 dna. i rode about 10 boards last year before deciding on this one. im 5'8 150 and ride the 137. if i were you id get the 142.
the board is quick into the wake much faster than a transcend but not as quick as a byerly or parks. the pop isnt huge but it is very consistent for a 3 stage which was very important to me. overall the board doesnt have anything that distinguishes it or any dominating characteristics. and those lack of characteristics is what i find most appealing.

I'd have to agree with Alan as far as it's character. It's a very forgiving board for being a three stage. One suggestion, at 210lbs you may want to go with the big boy 147 as I did. I've never ridden a three stage that landed so soft.

im 5'9 and i weigh about 170 and i ride the 135 from 2004... its by far the best board ive ever ridden.... its not really abrupt like the parks or bonifay, but still has some kick w/ it... its also quick on the edges... its the perfect board for me

Era rocks. I have 3 of the 4 sizes for my family, all except the 147. We range from beginner to solid intermediate and all love our boards. One thing that works great for us; take the fins off. You don't need em.

very predictable ride. pop is nothing special, so load that line, my friend.

I'm curious about the 147, as I'm 6'4" and 210. Always been riding a 142 or 141. Time to make the jump up? How much of a difference am I in for?
