Moomba has made it official, it is the mojo 2.5. Here is the video they released for it. Boat looks sweet

Looks great, can't wait to see a production one. Wish they would show some of the surf wake because I heard it's huge.

Was there a mojo 1.0, 2.0, etc.? What is the significance of 2.5?

I assume it's because it's 22 and a half feet and they didn't want to have to change the name if they come out with another model like they did with the old Launch.

I like most of the boat. The bow design, while functional, is ugly and the name is just corny. Nice boat though. Does it share similar hulls to the rest of the Skier's choice boats or did they finally come up with a new hull design that doesn't have a deep V at the front half and completely flatten out towards the rear? Their boats almost have 2 seperate hulld combined into 1.

Does anyone else see alot of Malibu influenced design in that boat? I'm not just talking about the tower but pretty much everything from the transom forward until you get to the the very front of the bow. Even the way it sits on the water.

They kept the name... I can't believe they kept the name. that boat would be 2x better by just having a better name.

Hate: Yep. It looks exactly like a bu from the back or side. In fact, I think it looks more like a picklefork malibu than the malibu MXZ does.

maybe its just me but the wake looks washy when they are cutting into it.

I actually got to ride the wake during the Supra shoot and I loved it. It's a completely different boat from any of the other previous Moombas. If the video makes it look washy, I certainly don't remember it being so in the shoot. It was definitely my favorite boat to ride of the entire line up, and that was with the small engine. I'm pretty stoked to see what it will look like with the bigger engine too. Hope this helps
