^^^^ Funny that you mention using your ears.

The first two years I owned my boat it did not have Perfect Pass. I could hold speed okay as long as the stereo was turned down. With the stereo up I couldn't hear the engine and had trouble keeping speed. I now have PP in my boat and I can't tell you how awesome it is to be able to crank the tunes while driving

yeah my speedo tends to have a lag so i use my ears and the tach.

Which speed controls don't turn off with the ignition. I have only used Malibu's speed control on an 06 and it turns off having to reset every time. Would be nice if it just stayed on I'd think.

ahaha i had a sanger and literally every guage was broken(to cheap to fix the old girl) so good old ears and eyes kept me in the ball park, never had a complaint once about speed.
