Last time I was down there I couldn't make it to Guayaquil. I did hit Montanita and Canoa for some surfing, but didn't see any wakeboarders. Lots of kitesurfing though...

How long of a run can you get in???

I'd say the run was about 600 meters or something like that. How did you like Montanita?? We did this in Punta Blanca which is only 30 mins away from Montanita. There really isnt much wakeboarding around there, but about 40 mins away there's Salinas where you can see some wakeboarders... mostly in the late afternoon when the ocean gets a bit calmer
