What does age have to do with it?

John Anderson is like 55 or 60 or something and he does more tricks than you.

Did that answer your question?

Most kids are starting much less self-absorbed threads by 16.

I'm 18 and can do less than half of what you can do..

I bet I have at least as much fun as you though!

Don't make all the dad's on here bring out their pics of their 2 and 3 year olds again! They should be doing backrolls by age 7 or 8!

I've had a crap load of fun nearly every session over the last 7+ years. Tricks you throw or don't throw mean nothing if you're not having fun.
Old     (foxrepdc)      Join Date: Oct 2005       07-21-2006, 8:08 AM Reply
I'm 37 and my trick list is pretty short and sweet, but it does sound like Chinese New Year when I get up in the mornings and walk down the hall with all the bones popping!!!!

I can do a mean, one handed flat, look back whip over a 70 footer on a dirtbike though.....does that count??
Old     (kylielogan)      Join Date: Apr 2006       07-21-2006, 8:12 AM Reply
I'm 35-ish (sorry, tried to put my real age and just couldn't do it!) and I: ski bumps, snowboard, longboard, skateboard, wakeboard, ride a single speed mtn bike, do circuit weights, and jog, and i know how to: catch an edge, faceplant concrete, faceplant water, do endos, drop weights on my toes, and get shin splints.

That counts in my book!! thats sick for an old man!
Just kiddin about the old man. A one handed flat, look back whip over a 70 footer is sick, no matter what age you are.

Kylie-
I wished we lived closer together... hard to find females who are into everything to hang with. Do you ever come to Whistler?
Old     (foxrepdc)      Join Date: Oct 2005       07-21-2006, 8:20 AM Reply
Jeff....the problem is, that's where it ends now! It used to be tied in with 30 minute motos, throttle pinned on the roughest outdoor tracks, AX and SX! Now I get sweaty loading a bike up in the truck!

Never been to Whistler ... guess I'd better save up some money, huh? Or you can come to Colorado! FYI, re your thread and next week off ... you suck too!

I hear ya, I owned a track in Cali, that we used as a factory test track that destroyed my body, the track was beyond my abilites, but it dident stop me from riding it, when I wasent injured from it and now I walk around at 36 lookin and feeling like Evil Knievel. But those were the good old days, when I dident give a you no what. Now i wish I would have given a you no what.

I'm 35 and ride with some kids who can do many inverts but grab absolutely nothing, tweak nothing, shift nothing. Very talented kids but not very entertaining to watch.
yes, style takes precedence but not many know what style means

I am 41 and my trick list looks like John's - HS3 and Backroll are pretty consistent, and working on TS Frontroll, Tantrum, and TS3. I'm not sure my body can take learning any more inverts... I need Viagra for aging wakeboarders... haha.
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       07-21-2006, 12:18 PM Reply
Peter...it's called beer, and it's available over the counter. Unfotuntely you'll nee Motrin for when the beer wears off.

I'm a 21 year old female, I can do tweaked grabs and I just started landing hs fs 180 constantly.

Personally, I'm more impress with spins than flips.

I second that Melissa. IMO, would much rather see a big Backside 180 Ben Greenwood style than inverts. But to each his own.

26 btw and working on going w2w. But having a blast trying.

I am 27 and can do a big worm and even bigger fashion air!!!

Respect the spins, nobody has better style than the original, Randy Harris.

43. I have mad skillz, nunchuck skillz, computer hacking skillz....... Chicks dig mad skillz.

I suck but have fun and am slowly working on a few new things. I think style outways hucking an invert.

BTW-Eagle is lying. He has HUGE mad skillz. More than any of us that ride with him.

I agree with Melissa...I always enjoyed seeing my son do hs, ts, off axis spins more than watching his friends that couldn't go toeside tw huck an invert. 42 year old Mom of two grown boys...two wake with grabs, ts 180's and a huge fashion air. Learned to wakeboard from a trick ski in 1996 and can pull of a pretty mean O (otherwise known as a surface 360).

I play loud music, fly my pirate flags, and drive around the river looking for people doing power turns so I can yell at them!
