yah ill be at bartlett on saturday already with a few buds in a red/white 06 SAN. if u guys are gonna be at the flats... ill look for you throughtout the day when we pass by.

Hey guys, so what is the history on the lake you winch on? Do you own the property? is it not yours are you leasing? Do you get resistance from locals or authority? I just bought my first winch a pull dozer 8hp and can't waite to ride. Any winching advise?

It is a public park located within a residential area with no major streets around. With no major streets around the police are not likely to come by and see something going on. A city worker might turn them in, but it is doubtful. Someone would have to complain and even then I doubt anything would happen.

Actually had a park ranger come by last Wednesday and shut things down

Sunday's probably the best day since the rangers/city workers are off....no probs this last Sunday

Pretty much what sam said... find an out of the way spot. be polite to the local residents. people watch us ride at carriage lane park all the time, they're mostly just curious and nobody complains. we pick up our trash and keep the foul language down. and if some form of authority does show up to shut you down, just pack up and don't give them a hard time.... chances are you won't win that battle.
