Hello, I have found a pretty good deal on a ’02 Liquid Force rhythm 147 wake board with 03’ super suction bindings. I am 6’6” and about 180lbs. I am wondering what people of a similar size think of this board. I am not a great rider or anything just like to play around behind the boat. I am not doing grabs or 180’s yet. Is this going to be a good board for me? And what is your opinion of this board?

Thanks
Malcolm Laing

The package I found had the option of a 134, a 141, or a 147 with the super suctions for $239.

Clint that link had some good deals on boards, do you have a good source for ultra suctions, XXL's (size 14 feet)?

i had an 00 rythym with 02 supersuctions and i thought the set up was good. the ultras are definatly better but supersuctions are good for the money and a lot easier to get into imo.

Super suctions are highly underrated (of course not asnice as utlras, but still good), so is the rythm. I'd say go for it,I rode the 147 a few times, thought it was fun.

Ok so I guess the question now is 147 or 141?

i began on a rhythm 141. i'm about 6'3" 185. i rode the board for two seasons and learned grabs, 180s and started working on backrolls with my rhythm. i think it is a great board for beginning/inter. if you are just playing behind the boat, i think it would be a good choice with some room left for improving your riding.

I just found out that the place I was going to get it from is sold out of the 141 and XL bindings so I'm going to have to find something else with in my price range. (200-300$) any ideas anyone?

Malcolm

I am happy with the 02 Belmont 141. I am 6'4 and weigh 220.

Good luck finding what you want.

well if you can manage around $350 you can get a 2003 141 TFD or Belmont on ebay for around $200 and some 2003 XL Ultras for around $150. Great set up either way for a nice low price. I see them on there from good real companies too. I personally ride a 136 TFD with 2004 Ultras, Awesome board. My girlfriend rides a '03 Belmont with '03 ultras, also a great board.
